Erasmus MC - Department of Neuroscience

Master of Neuroscience program

We will welcome both national and international students. Therefore, the entire program is in English. Eligible are students with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of the Life Sciences disciplines including medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, psychology and biology. For medical students who are trained at an academic medical center at which no bachelor's degree can be obtained at present (e.g. Erasmus MC) we will consider successful completion of the third year of their medical curriculum as its equivalent. All national and international students who want to enter the Master of Neuroscience program must take an entry exam. This ensures that all students have the appropriate level, and helps you to decide whether this is the right program for you!

Entry Exam

Students will be selected based upon their motivation and ability to do research in the field of neuroscience and the result of an entry exam. Expectedly, about 25 students will enter the program. The maximum number of participants to enter is 35. The deadline for non-EU applications for the academic year 2018-2019 is March 1, 2018. EU-applicants are advised to register well before the deadline. For Dutch students the deadline for application is May 1, 2018. Be aware that your registration needs to be completed before the deadline and all required documents uploaded before then.
